Your guides

Walk with Tom and Dan

From preparing your equipment to settling into camp, Tom and Dan will guide the journey and help you get involved.

With a maximum of eight guests, there is time for practical support, questions and shared experience along the way.

Start preparing for your adventure

Build towards the strength, stamina and everyday habits your trip will ask of you with Adventure Fit, our developing online preparation programme.

You can register interest for a trip with us, another company or independently planned. Adventure Fit is separate and is not included in the proposed holiday price.

Questions you might have

Can I come on my own?

Yes. Guests are welcome to join independently. With a maximum of eight guests and both Tom and Dan guiding, there is time to get to know the group.

Do I need previous camping experience?

Not necessarily. Camping experience and walking fitness are different things. You can be new to camping and we’ll help you get involved, but you may still need considerable walking experience for a particular route.

How fit do I need to be?

Each route asks for sustained walking over five consecutive days while carrying camping equipment. Tell us about your recent walking and we’ll talk it through honestly before booking opens.

Will I carry my own equipment?

Yes. You’ll carry your own kit and food, and an appropriate share of the group equipment. We’ll help you pack without unnecessary weight.

What equipment can you supply?

Rucksacks and the camping essentials listed above can be supplied if needed. We’ll talk through personal clothing and footwear with you before the trip.

What food is included?

Breakfasts and evening camp meals are included; bring lunches and snacks. Tell us about dietary requirements before booking. Any pub meals or resupply options and costs will be confirmed separately.

Where will we camp?

Overnight locations are still being arranged. You’ll receive the camping details before you book; planned campsite fees are included in the proposed price.

How do we get back to our vehicles?

Bob Graham Round returns to Keswick. For the linear routes, we’ll confirm how to connect the start and finish and any transfer costs before booking.

What happens if conditions change?

The full named route is the intended itinerary. Weather, conditions and group circumstances may require changes, and Tom and Dan will make the decisions that suit the group on the day.

Are dates and prices confirmed?

No. Dates are provisional and the price of £995 per person is proposed. Registering interest means we can talk through the details with you before booking opens.

What happens after I register interest?

Tom or Dan will get in touch to discuss your walking experience, preparation and the practical arrangements. Registering interest creates no booking and requires no payment.

Can you help me prepare physically?

You can register interest in Adventure Fit, our separate online preparation offer. It is not included in the holiday price.
